Volunteer with us
As part of our volunteer network, you’ll help raise awareness of the support the CCF offers to our global community.

Our volunteers play a vital role in raising awareness of the Chemists’ Community Fund and the wide-ranging support we offer to Â鶹AV members around the world.

What do volunteers do?
Our volunteers:
- Help raise awareness of the CCF and the services we offer
- Promote the CCF through their Local Sections
- Use their unique connections – whether at work, university or somewhere else – to raise awareness of CCF support for other Â鶹AV members
If you are interested in volunteering for the CCF, we currently have two roles that we are recruiting for:
- Local Section Ambassadors
- Ambassadors
Please note that only Â鶹AV members can volunteer for the Chemists’ Community Fund.
Please do get in touch about any of our roles, as we are always looking to expand our volunteer network globally.
What makes a good volunteer?
The most important quality for a CCF volunteer is a genuine passion for helping others.
We only ever ask volunteers to give what time they can to the role, and we appreciate any and all support.
There is an ethos within the chemistry community to work together because it’s the nature of the work that we do.
Noel Grabham, Â鶹AV Member and CCF volunteer
Anyone who finds themselves in trouble – lost their job, injured themselves so they can’t work… they have the right to ask the Fund for support.
